The Q Strategies team collaborated with Aslan and FTC Development to announce the start of construction on Central Crossing Condos at 1939 Central Ave. The team organized a groundbreaking ceremony, securing elected officials to speak at the ceremony, arranging a vendor, and creating and distributing a media advisory and press release.

Central Crossing Condos, on the corner of Central and Rossville, will be located in the expanding Southside neighborhood. With a total investment of $17 million, the 50,000-square-foot development will include 32 residential condos and up to five commercial units, including a highly anticipated restaurant space.

The ceremony was well attended and the Q team secured four media placements. Elected officials and community leaders spoke at the ceremony, including City of Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly, Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp, and District 11 County Commissioner Joe Graham. The Times Free Press and News Channel 12 also attended the event and interviewed multiple speakers and attendees.

The team thoroughly worked out the details of the event by creating a run-of-show outlining the schedule, sending out a press release to local news outlets, hiring a professional photographer, arranging for Spill the Beans Coffee Truck to provide refreshments, printed renderings, and securing the stage and speaker system.

For the groundbreaking ceremony, the team ordered shovels that were used during the groundbreaking ceremony and for photoshoots with FTC Development and Aslan employees and ceremony speakers. The shovels displayed logos from Central Crossing. The team printed and displayed multiple renderings to show the future building and floor plans.

Due to media outreach efforts, the event gained publicity, including online articles and television airtime. Before the event, the team pitched the ceremony to local media outlets, leading to News Channel 12 attending the event and airing coverage. Additionally, the team sent out a press release following the event, securing media placements with online articles from Chattanooga Times Free Press, Chattanoogan, and News Channel 12.
