One of Chattanooga’s leading public relations firms, Q Strategies, expands its team as Amanda Ellis becomes the firm’s senior manager of marketing and communication.
Ellis is a dynamic communication leader who developed her skills during more than seven years of industry experience. She demonstrated her expertise by successfully crafting public relations strategies, reaching large audiences via traditional and digital channels and managing high-engagement publications.
“Amanda brings extensive public relations and marketing skills to the firm,” says Kelly Allen, Q Strategies’ managing director. “With deep roots in the Chattanooga business community, she also adds incredible local knowledge and extensive industry understanding to our team. It is important for our clients to work with someone who is a leader in public relations and in building relationships in our community.”
Before joining Q Strategies, Ellis worked as marketing and communications manager for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. Among many other things, she managed the Chamber’s “Business Trend” magazine and ChattanoogaTrend.com, reaching thousands of readers each month with economic development news, local business profiles and more. She also served on a team that generated billions of national media impressions, positioning the Chattanooga region as a top location for business.
Ellis currently serves as president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Lookout Chapter, the leading Chattanooga-area communications professional organization. She graduated from Nashville’s Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in corporate communication.
